Custom Setup

Over the years I have learned that you can have the best guitar along with the best amp and pedals and if your rig is not tuned to your way of playing, you will never get the sound you are looking for. Often times, just a few tweaks will kick your playing up to a whole new level.

A brand new guitar off the rack needs to be fitted to your particular playing style. Over time, even a guitar that once worked for you can get out of adjustment and play like a brick. If it used to be your favorite guitar, chances are, it can be again.

Over the past thirty years, I have developed a set-up that has worked for hundreds of people, and most who play my personal guitars want their instrument set-up like mine. While the adjustments are simple, the measurements are critical to creating the right sound. However, the wrong adjustments can cause serious damage…so be careful if you feel the need to tweak your own gear.
