Dwight Everett grew up along the Gulf Coast of Alabama where music is an important part of the culture.  He began playing guitar at the young age of 9.

In his early years he was influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell.  As he grew older, he was influenced by Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmore, Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughn, to name a few.

Dwight was a founding member of the Lucky Doggs, with Johnny Barbato, and is a full-time member of The Lucky Doggs today.

In 1994, Dwight  formed the Blues Injectors, continuing to play locally with them until 2002.  The Blues Injectors opened for such acts as The Thunderbirds, Robert Cray, Tower of Power and B.B. King.

Currently, Dwight is a full time musician, playing, teaching and performing custom setups on guitars.
